Take care of yourself first and the rest will follow. Report
92 - David Cassidy "Calling Our Hearts" - appears to be DJ Cassidy. Spotify and others didn't know of David Cassidy (who was a teen pop idol in my day, the 1970's. I don't think he's coming out of retirement!??). As others have pointed out, #12 and #20 Nicki Minaj "Anaconda" is a duplicate, also Michael Jackson/Justin Timberlake #13 and #21 "Love Never Felt So Good" duplicates. Report
These sure aren't the songs of my generation - but at least it helps me understand some of the songs the kids 20-30 years and younger are listening to these days. (my kid and kids young enough to be my grandkids, if I had gotten started sooner!). I've created a Spotify list of these songs, but only about half way through. Will be adding to them (except for the two songs that are repeated twice on this list.). They are under the user name MSDRPEPPER or maybe this link will work:
iD And for those of you who asked, I do have some of the SparkPeople best Christian music (don't think it is year specific - was like top 100+ across many years) - again, just go to Spotify and look for my playlists. Report
Wish there was a All Time Best workout song list. Report
Get on the natch by Boz Scaggs gets my vote! Report
I must be odd, I really like quiet or listening to a book not music, Sparkcoach keeps pushing music but I can't settle down to exercise with that racket going on. Report
Just bought the 2014 Best Workout Songs and WHAT A DIFFERENCE it makes working out. So much more fun and easier to keep up the pace! Report

Ok, it says Best workout songs of 2014, but the album is actually the one from 2013. Is the 2014 one coming out soon for non-iTunes users? It was the same on Amazon. I have the 2013 one and love it! Report
Some good picks for the best of 2014. Is there a Spotify playlist?
Here's another resource for workout music...with iTunes and Spotify links. fortherideinside . com Report
great list Report
another reason I love the 80s, smile Report
Okay, so am I getting old or something? I have heard of many of these artists, but not very many of these songs. I listen to alternative music, this stuff is all "pop" I guess? But my running play list actually consists of songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and current. Find a good motivating song and I will GO! Report
I can't believe there is only 1 country song on this list. Sheesh! Report
I wish they had a 2014 Christian Music Workout Songs list! - If there is, then I need to find it! Report
My favorite: "Get That Body Back" by Pomplamoose Report
Timmy Trumpet feat Savage - "Freaks" - if you hear this at the gym, it will get you movin! Report
I am also with "Word Crimes" as a workout song ^_^
I've heard of some of these artists, but they are basically whatever the new "pop" is considered to be.
I prefer instrumental electronic/dance music so the words don't get in the way of the beat. Report
#12 and #13 are duplicated as a tie for #20.

Your data needs some cleaning up. Report
This reminds me of an article in Runner's World magazine. The topic there was the worst workout songs, where "worst" meant songs that get stuck in your head and can't be dislodged. One woman's contribution: You haven't suffered until you've been haunted by "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt." Report
I don't know any other songs. Will stick with my '60s and '70s music as well as Southern Gospel and some contemporary Christian. Report
I didn't work out to any of the songs on the list till I got to number 30: Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay. Calvin Harris "Summer" and "Blame (#s 43 and 90) are good too. Everything else? Eh. Report
I love Happy, Problem and Break Free. Report
So...a good workout song doesn't necessarily mean it's a good song...? Because there are very few songs on this list that I would ever voluntarily listen to. LOL Report
How can Anaconda be both number 20 and number 12? Report
Haven't heard of a single one of these songs, and only about half the artists. LOL. Looks like I've got some learnin' and listenin' to do. Report
Weird Al Yankovic's "Word Crimes" -- my favorite for exercise! Report
