Dear Old Man Winter,

Why do you keep hanging around? You go away for a few days, letting sunny skies and warm breezes fill your place, making us all very happy. And just when I think you're gone for good, you come back with a vengeance, bringing snow, cold rains, grey skies, and miserable temperatures. Not cool...

You can't keep doing this to us. I think you have outworn your welcome. Time to go away until next year so my friends spring and summer can run the show for a little while. OK? Thanks for your cooperation,

Nicole

Techie I am not and I really like the songs on this play list. I just need to figure out how to get them onto my inexpensive little mp3 player. That also reminds me I need to get hold of my oldest sister and get her walking Irish songs play list, as Irish is my most favorite music. - 4/14/2013   8:58:03 AM

I like a couple of the older ones (have the Beach Boys, but no way to get them from that album to the MP-3), but don't know most of these. I listen more to Christian and Country. There is a lot of contemporary Christian that I think would fit. - 4/13/2013   12:52:30 PM

I like "Here Comes the Sun" for warm up or cool down. Also "Summer's Coming" by Clint Black is good for walking, and of course "Kokomo" or "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys. - 4/12/2013   1:38:32 PM

I like a few of those, but I'm more old school rock. I like to get the Led out! I'm also a major parrothead, so anything by Jimmy Buffett gets me in the summertime frame of mind. Other great songs to walk/workout to is 1000 miles by The Proclaimers, Paradise By the Dashboard Light by Meat Loaf, Jelly Roll by Blue Murder, Summer Nights from the movie Grease.... - 4/12/2013   8:43:16 AM

To continue the theme of sunshine:
    SHINE by Luther Vandross

Love it! I made a "summer" playlist in the middle of February when I couldn't take winter anymore. I'll be adding some of these songs! - 4/12/2013   6:56:27 AM

I like "Under the Boardwalk" by the Drifters a lot for walking. And for stretching i usually use "Summertime" from the soundtrack of "Porgy and Bess" or Al Green's "Ain't no Sunshine When She's Gone".
I tend to agree on the Beachboys - anything they sing works for me.
    I guess I'm dating myself, too!! - 4/11/2012   10:42:41 PM

I like the list, but I must say: That Katy Perry CD is the worst recording I have ever bought in my entire 45 & 7/12ths years on this earth. The absolute worst. It made me cringe worst. As my coworker Greg said, "what did you expect?" - 3/21/2011   12:30:25 AM

So I just turned on my television and a program on MuchMore Music has made me comment on this blog again.

MuchMore Music is a Canadian Music station (incorporated with Much Music) and in the morning they have a program called Juiced! which Features upbeat music videos to get your morning started.

That exactly what it says in the program info, so if you are Canadian and are up and need some music to get you going, turn on MuchMore Music!

Right now they have on Who's That Chick by Rihanna and David Guetta, great upbeat tune!

This program I believe is on every morning at 9am Eastern Time. - 3/17/2011   9:14:54 AM
