Designed to avoid joint strain and muscular imbalances, this one-mile indoor walk varies your step and pace using simple, low-impact moves to get you sweating. Your core and leg muscles are in for a treat.

We're jumping right into this mile, so be sure to warm up before pressing play. While anyone can perform these moves, keep in mind that this is a faster tempo walk. Be sure to listen to your body throughout the workout and go at your own pace as needed.  

Whether the weather outside is too frightful for a run, you're in need of some extra steps to meet your daily goal or you just love a challenge, this fun workout gets the job done in a jiffy.

I do Jessica Smith workouts usually several days a week! I find her videos very easy to rotate with my other workouts. I especially like the modifications she gives to increase the intensity if you are wanting more! Love her! Report

The side view of the hinge move was too fast for me to catch, so I couldn't tell if I was doing it right. I rarely keep Jessica's pace--I get the form, then concentrate on doing the moves well, with energy, without trying to match her speed. So the call "Stay with me, stay with me!" was a bit annoying, as it seemed she wanted us to match her pace; "Keep going" might be better & more encouraging for slower seniors like me. I think her more recent workouts have gotten even better. Report

Good quick workout. First time using a Jessica Smith walk. I would do it again but where can I track this video in SP fitness? Report
This is one of her better ones, in my opinion. I've learned to adjust my pace as necessary, break for water and do my own stretching and cool-down, since she rarely includes these.
