I like the strength training, but I don't think I've tried any of the cardio DVD's yet. My favorite is Hit the spot Pilates so far. I loved her show on Lifetime, I wish it was still on T.V. - 2/22/2012   6:15:57 AM

I started my workout journey back in 1987 working out to Denise's show on ESPN. She is always so positive and motivating. I don't use her workouts as much anymore since I feel they are much better for beginner to intermediate exercisers but would love to revisit her with some of her new workouts.

My favorite fitness dvd is currently Supreme 90 but my all time favorite is Kathy Smith Step (although that's a VHS), I really love cardio and strength DVDs always like to work out better 'with' someone. - 12/3/2011   5:14:57 PM

So ironic - I pulled out Denise's Essentially Yoga this week - VCR version and thoroughly enjoyed working with her again! Went to Walmart and Target to see if they had the DVD version and couldn't find any of her workouts! Now here she is at Spark People!! Coincidence?? I think not! - 12/3/2011   1:24:16 PM

I used to have a few Denise Austin tapes years ago. I always enjoyed them . I think Kathy Smith's oldie-"Functionaly Fit" series would have been my favorites. Coach Nicole is awsome too. Just got the Cardio Blast DVD and am getting started back exercising. Having more DVDs would give me the ability to keep shaking things up. - 12/3/2011   11:44:11 AM

Ive found Cross Fit - a combination of cardio & strength training is very effective for me.
Example - Doing squats and rows with light dumbells at the same time.
But I would Love to win Denise's videos. Im always trying to mix up my workouts. - 12/3/2011   11:32:33 AM

I love Chris Frytag's 10 lb extreme workouts! They take a regular strength training and cardiovascular workout to the next level! They allow you to not only challenge your body, but your mind too! I love Denise Austin's workouts because they get your heart rate up in a smaller amount of time, but they still give you the recommended amount of strength training and cardiovasular that you need each day! - 12/3/2011   11:27:47 AM

I met Denise Austin several years and was a moderator on her forum before her website went to the current format. Her workouts are down to earth and can be done by any level of exerciser. - 12/3/2011   11:09:31 AM

Love her workouts. She is just so cheery, and it feels great to work with her! - 12/3/2011   10:58:56 AM

I LOVE Denise - she was my first DVD instructor way back when I was pregnant with my first child. To win these would be sweet!

My favorite DVD instructor would probably be Jillian Michaels or Denise - I feel challenged by Jillian and pushed, and I love Denise's postive and cheery attitude - it's a toss-up!

I prefer a combo DVD - one that does intense bursts of cardio and strength together. I only have about 30 minutes each morning to fit a DVD in, so I need to make the most of my time. I also usually take a brisk walk during my break at work, so if I could only choose one, it'd be strength. - 12/3/2011   10:36:03 AM

I have felt so off track lately, but this morning I got up and decided to get moving again and choose wisely. I have lots of resources to use here at home. It's time to use them instead of letting them collect dust. Denise Austin's DVDs are always good. May have to pull out some of the old ones! - 12/3/2011   9:41:49 AM
