So you forgot to defrost!
Put 4 - 6 frozen chicken breast in Pam sprayed crock pot. Then pour in 1 cup of fat free Italian dressing. Cook on low for 4 - 6 hours. So yummy on rice or green leafy salad. Report
I am looking for more Paleo-friendly recipes, recipes low in carbs, low in processed ingredients, high in micronutrients and low in fat....Keep in mind that the food has to be first of all healthy, then if it is great tasting that's a great benefit. Report

I love my slow cookers. I have a large one and smaller one. They make wonderful meals that are low-fat and low cal....You can even make some yummy low fat treats I would be lost without mine. Report
Both these recipes looked good, but did you check the sodium levels? They both have close to 800 mg per serving. That's too high in my household where we are dealing with high blood pressure and kidney disease. Report

We get lots of pumpkin & winter squash from our CSA farmer. A while back, I made a slow-cooker stew with pumpkin, onion, celery, and a pork roast. I didn't really have a recipe (we tend to do that a lot), but I made it like a regular stew. It was a big hit in my house. Report
I love to use my slow cooker too. One of our favourites is pulled pork. I am going to have to make that soon! Report
