I'm looking forward to getting that last 10 - 15 lbs off ... been maintaining what I lost VERY well but still want to get down to 155! BUT the big "look forward" for me in 2013 is my BIG move back to my home state after being gone 30 yrs! My boyf & I decided in SEPT that we would relocate there as I have many friends and connections there. NV has become a very NOWHERE place to be as far as work or anything productive goes ... and back home, there is a LOT more opportunities for folks like us! This will start happening about mid-February and finish about 6 wks after. During that time I will have to be a bit more self-disciplined on things cuz I won't be able to get on to Sparkpeople on a daily basis till we are all done w/ the move. It will take that long cuz I have to drive it twice (3 cars) and on the 1st drive out, I have to find us a place to live(housing). Thankfully PODS will move our possessions! - 12/31/2012   3:45:18 PM

I'm looking forward to maintaining my weight and for the first time in a really long time I will not be setting a goal to lose weight. I'm looking forward to running more races and to get serious about biking. - 12/30/2012   7:51:35 AM

My friend's late wise and wonderful grandmother always said never look backwards, always move forward in life. I hope to continue to maintain my weight loss in 2013 and continue to build stength and endurance to run 5Ks. - 12/29/2012   7:33:45 AM

While I agree with the theory of looking forward, we also need to take time once in a while to look back so we can see where we made mistakes--not to obsess over having made them, but to understand what we need to do to improve moving forward. - 12/26/2012   2:38:42 PM

Love this comment. Going to pass it on to all my 'rear-viewing' friends and relatives who dwell too much on past events and less on planning their tomorrows.

I'm looking forward to a better, 'Posimistic' (positive and optimistic) New Year.

Happy New Year, fellow Sparkers! - 12/26/2012   11:49:17 AM

I'm looking forward to making more positive changes in my eating habits, learn to exercise without getting sidelined by injury, and working more on getting my house in order. I've really made head way on my daughter's room, but need to finish that along with other rooms in the house. - 12/26/2012   5:24:35 AM

Always hungry. I am always thinking of the next thing I want to eat as soon as i am done eating what is at hand. I joined this website looking for help and a good meal plan that I can try and follow to the T so I dont allow myself to just eat anything I want anytime I want. Wish me luck! - 12/25/2012   10:38:44 PM
