This 30-Day Challenge Is All About Improving Workplace Wellness

You know what they say about "all work and no play." As it turns out, "all work and no wellness" might be the bigger culprit. Are you too busy at the office (or wherever your job takes you) to invest in the movement and meal planning your health deserves?

That's where SparkPeople's Workplace Wellness Challenge comes in! We'll help you find easy but effective ways to incorporate healthy habits into your workday and life, while improving your productivity and energy levels. For 30 days, you'll receive easy-to-follow challenges to help you sneak more exercise and nutrition into your busy day. By the end of the challenge, you just might find that these healthier behaviors have become second nature.

What can you expect from the Workplace Wellness Challenge?

  • 30 Daily "Mini Challenges"
Each day, you'll receive a "mini-challenge" in your inbox, which you will complete to help you add more health to your workdays. Each daily task is designed to help you move more, eat better and stay accountable for the duration of the month, reminding you of what to do, offering great tips and keeping your goals on point.
  • 225 SparkPoints
Yep, you read that right! You can earn between three and 10 SparkPoints for each daily challenge you complete. Just visit the challenge page and click the "Earn Your SparkPoints" button to tell us that you completed that day’s task. It's that easy!
  • Social Support
You can use the hashtag #WorkplaceWellness on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest throughout the challenge. Ask questions. Post about your progress. Tell us how your challenge is going. Encourage your friends to join you! When you use the official #WorkplaceWellness hashtag, you'll be connecting with fellow members and friends to find support and cheer others on every step of the way! We also encourage you to use it on your own social media pages to connect with others who are completing the challenge.
  • Open to Anyone: Invite Your Friends to Join!
While members can earn SparkPoints for participating, this challenge is open to anyone! Share the challenge page with your friends by posting it on Facebook, sending an email link or sharing on Pinterest, Instagram or Twitter. Both SparkPeople members and non-members can participate and sign up for daily challenge emails just by entering their email address.

Go to the 30-Day Workplace Wellness Challenge and sign up by clicking the "Take the Challenge" button to enter your email address. After signing up, you will receive one email per day for the next 30 days with a reminder to complete your daily challenge and get your SparkPoints. Note that once you sign up, you should expect to receive your first challenge email the following day at 8:00 a.m. EST.

Right now! The challenge is open and ready for you to join, and you can start or join at any time. The sooner you start, the sooner you will be on the path to a healthier, happier you!
