New & Improved SparkRecipes App for iPad

By , SparkPeople Blogger
Several weeks ago, we released a much-anticipated update to our Healthy Recipes app for the iPhone. Today, we are excited to share that these same improvements are now available for the iPad version of our app! We are particularly thrilled about this update because iPads are such great tools to use in the kitchen when searching for and following recipes.

If you don’t have the app yet, download it for free for the iPad. Like the new iPhone version of our app, we kept the features that made it great and made several great improvements, including:
  • A crisp, easy-to-use design featuring more recipe photos
  • Editor-curated recipe collections that help you discover new dishes for seasonal events and holidays
  • Easy one-click integration that lets you save and share recipes from our app directly to your Facebook and Pinterest apps
As always, we’d love hear what you think about our new iPad app. If you have any comments or questions about the app, please post them below or on our Message Boards. If you have an idea, we want to hear about it! If you encounter any technical issues at all, please let us know how we can help.
Stay tuned for even more great updates to and our apps in the near future. Discover more mobile apps from SparkPeople here.
We hope you love the new iPad app!

Do you know where I can find a CD to put in my own recipes and nutrition offline?

I find my iPad to be very useful in the kitchen using it as a recipe book. I enjoyed using the old version of the app, and am looking forward to updating it to see what 's new and exciting. Report
I have a kindle fire hdx. The recipe app version i have freezes, but i still use it, as it has my favorites in it. I also have the SP produce app, wish that the recipe app and produce app could sync so all my recipes are in one spot. Report
It still doesn't look like I would be able to access my Recipe Box or enter my own recipes with the recipe calculator through the app. I still have to use the SparkRecipes website to do that, right? Report
I am loving the updated app! The iPad really is a perfect tool for the kitchen! Now if only the iOs app could be updated to include fiber I would be SET! Report
