You might have noticed some SparkPeople members sharing their amazing weight loss success stories in the news recently: Just like you, these members used SparkPeople to set small goals, track their food and exercise, and find support in the Community. Now look at how far they've come! These are regular people who prove that you can do it too! Maybe your story is a work-in-progress. Even if you’re just starting out, you are taking small steps towards your ultimate goal every time you log in. And becoming active in the SparkPeople Community can be a great source of support along the way. Connect with others who've had similar experiences, find support when your motivation is running low, and get kudos to help you celebrate every success—even small milestones. Here are a few ways YOU can become a success story too!
  • Document your journey on your SparkPage. Document what's been working for you, share before, during and after photos to motivate yourself and others, and discuss your ups and downs in your SparkPage blog.
  • Follow the footsteps of the SparkPeople's Motivational Members. Read their blogs and comment or ask questions on their SparkPages.
  • Join or start a SparkTeam. Whether your Team members have common weight loss goals, interests or life experiences, the important thing is that you’re all in this journey together.
  • Join the Community Team. After you've been active on the site for at least three months, you can join this special group of members who are dedicated to helping others and setting a positive example in the SparkPeople Community.
  • Join the Spread the Spark PR Team. You’ll find out how you can Spread the Spark through your local media. Who knows, you just might be the next national success story!
Every day our staff comes across more and more members who have amazing stories about the positive and healthy changes they’ve made. Do you have a story that might inspire someone else to start down the same path? Then don't be afraid to toot your own horn! Share your progress and accomplishments, both big and small on the Message Boards, your SparkPage, in your SparkTeams and even on your blog. You'll be amazed at the response you receive!
