'I've Formed A Lasting Bond with These Women'

Motherhood United Diverse April 2006 Mommy Team

Rachael (DIVERSELADY): "I started BabyFit, not fully knowing what this wonderful site had to offer. I recorded my weight, and put in what I ate every day and read articles. I finally discovered the April Mommies board. At first I didn't participate much but I got a lot of good information.  I started adding my opinion and asking questions I got hooked, I'm on every day. I have had so much help through my pregnancy, and now that Chloe is here I have had even more help. One of the best parts is that you can ask whatever you want even if it's TMI [too much information], and there is always somebody there to help.  Now that we have all become so close we have shared are troubles with work, family, and money. A lot of mommies have met in Chicago and soon will be meeting in Texas. It's heart-breaking for us mommies who can't afford it, but we still go on every day and wait for them to come on and let us know how it's going -- and we demand pictures. I have made so many friends and learned so much; I would be a total wreck with out the ladies on BabyFit and I thank god everyday for the wonderful site that is BABYFIT."

Sarah (ME_N_BRI): "I joined BabyFit exactly one year ago today, the day I found out I was pregnant. I joined mainly in the beginning for the fitness and meals to keep me and my baby healthy while I was pregnant. I learned that there was a board for Mommies due the same month as I was. At first I didn't post much but then I got into the swing of things. These ladies have become my lifeline. They are always there no matter what the situation may be, they will always be behind you on what ever decision you have made. Even though a lot of us haven't met face to face we are truly friends. We laugh and cut up and sometimes we even have arguments, but it doesn't change the fact that we are still there for each other. After I had Brianna, other moms who had gone through emergency and planned c-sections were there to give advice and let me know what the "norm" was. I really don't know if I would be such the confident mother that I am without them."
