SparkPeople and SparkRecipes Back Up After Technical Difficulties

Hey, everyone! 

As you may have noticed, and were down for a bit last night, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, there was a fire near our server facility, which shut everything down temporarily. We're happy to say that we are officially back up and running now, and nobody was hurt in the fire.

If you were unable to log in yesterday to get your daily SparkPoints, you can click here to get credit for the day you missed. We know how important consistency is to you all, and we'd hate to mess up your streak because of a technical difficulty on our end!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask--we'll answer them the best we can!

So happy everything is fine, and no one was in any danger, here in Adelaide South Australia, I cannot log in for the 17.5.13 to update points, can do so for the 18.5.13, which is to-day our time, in The Southern Hemisphere. Report
Happy to hear it's back again. I do noticed I couldn't reach SP. However, I couldn't decide if it is due to my end or SP.

Often, when travelling abroad and using local wifi in the hotel, I cannot access SP. However, on my mobile/GSM internet, I can access it at the same location. I didn't figure out why is that.

Next time, you could give away 20 SP points on the login wheel to compensate for the lost check-in... :-)

I had a few moments of pure panic. I realized for the first time if the site went down, and couldn't be brought back that I would have NO way of contacting people I have come to care for a great deal! I didn't realize until yesterday just how much I depend on the support I get here!

I have had it for about 3+ years and now it doesn't recognize my user name or my password. It says I need to purchase from app store for $3.99, but I was a user already??? Can you help? Report

Glad everything is OK now...(DH will be glad to be able to keep his streaks going). Luckily I did mine earlier in the day. However I was a bit lost at dinner without being able to see how many I had left for the day! Report
