About this Workout
This workout is part of SparkPeople's 7-Day Bootcamp Workout plan. Coach Nicole has created an easy-to-follow bootcamp-style cardio workout that you can do anywhere, without any equipment. This video will lead you through a short warm up, cardio workout, cool down and stretching routine in about 10 minutes, making it easy to fit into your day. Free of complex choreography, this workout is appropriate for people of many different fitness levels and abilities.
  • Length: 10 minutes
  • Equipment: None
  • Type of Workout: Cardio (aerobic) & flexibility
  • Fitness Level: Beginner to Advanced
  • Impact: Medium-impact
  • Safety Precautions: Wear proper footwear. Exercise at your own intensity level, using tips provided to lower your intensity if necessary. Only complete as much of the video as you can, taking a break to recover (by marching) when necessary. Never stop abruptly--if you get tired, try to stay moving, even if you're just walking in place. As you progress, try to finish the entire video or to repeat the video several times.
  • Extra Tip: Keep your movements big, but controlled! The deeper you squat, higher you kick, and quicker you move, the harder you'll be working.

  • I did this video two times for the challenge and it WAS a challenge. I put my all in it. I even added a weight for a few minutes. I think I will wait to to do that again. I loved it, I have so much more energy after these short 10-20 minute workouts. - 5/5/2013 9:26:47 AM
  • Good starting workout reminds me of the toe bo workout but shorter. Excellent choice to start someone. One learns this then add more time and works beautifully. Did my part at 4:25 am and will add the walk challenge and the other things I plan. It actually woke me out and gave me adrenaline. Thanks! - 5/2/2013 4:33:36 AM
  • The workout was good for me. Only thing was the sound of stamping was annoying - instructor should put a rubber mat under her. - 5/1/2013 12:24:35 AM
  • I didn't find this a challenging cardio work out but think because joints are stiff I probably wasn't doing as much as I should have been. Will try harder tomorrow! - 4/30/2013 9:15:12 PM
  • Ok so I thought 11 mins? No biggy!! Wrong!! I feel the burn!! - 4/29/2013 9:46:22 AM
  • I did most of this in my wheel chair my muscles are so sore from working out 7 days straight so other than this and 15 min of tai chi this morning I am resting today to give my muscles a chance to recover and refresh, hopefully I will be able to it standing up next week. (Actually I did a few standing up but not many) Edna - 4/28/2013 1:09:22 PM
  • Thanks Coach Nicole. I am most defiantly added this to my daily workout routine. I wanted to sweat more and I did. I like how you gave opition for those at slower and faster pacing. A lot of videos I've seen tend to push you further and further not worrying at what level you might be. - 4/27/2013 2:33:56 PM
  • That was great! Can't wait until tomorrow! - 4/26/2013 11:47:11 AM
