Have you ever thought about getting older as essentially growing young? For most of us this may sound like a foreign concept, but it is one worth thinking about. Consider this: children are not scared to dream, they believe that failure is normal, and they truly think that they can do anything. Don’t adults need some of these behaviors in their everyday life? Think about how much you might be able to accomplish if you were encouraged to dream. What would you be able to do if you thought and believed that you could do anything? How much would your daily life change if you weren’t scared of failure? Obviously, at work we might not be able to act like we are a boundless child, but set some goals that will allow you to remember what it was like to live life without limits.

I love this quote. As I get older, it seems like I am becoming the person I was meant to be as a child. I choose which people I want to be with and which things I really want to do, and then have the courage to discard the rest. Being "nice" is no longer as important as it was when I was middle-aged - now it seems "nicer" to make choices that truly reflect the person I have become.
