The list "was comprised of words like cranky, nauseous, etc.," but "at the bottom of the list, in James' handwriting, was the word 'beautiful.'" What's more, "Whenever I'm being sick, he sits with me by the toilet, rubs my back and tells me how wonderful and beautiful I am-- which is hard to believe when you've got your head in the toilet. And now you made me cry...thinking about all he's said and done..." Perhaps most helpful from friends and relatives are words of encouragement about sacrifices being made, as well as the new challenges that lie ahead.
