  • All answers correct!!! - 3/19/2014 1:26:30 PM
  • I got them all correct except the USP. Thanks for the USP info so we can make good vitamin and supplement purchases.

It had been recommended to me to cut my multivitamin in half and take twice a day rather than all at once, so I now do that. - 3/8/2014 3:56:39 PM
  • I got all questions right except about the USP. I went and checked my vitamins after seeing this and they do not have that label! I take vitamin D because I work nights and live in the pacific northwest (north of 42 degrees longitude) so I cannot get it during the winter months. I also take Fish Oil from recommendations from both my Eye Doctor and Family Doctor since I tend to have dry skin and dry eyes. - 1/27/2014 8:15:18 PM
  • I take a number of supplements, some mentioned, some not. One thing not mentioned was that some of those supplements counteract with prescribed medications and shouldn't be taken at the same time because they make the prescribed medication less effective. A multi-vitamin works better taken with food because it breaks down in the system better. You get what you pay for too. Buy cheap, get cheap! - 1/3/2014 1:11:38 PM
  • Got them all except for the USP. I'm on blood thinners so I sure know about Vitamin K unfortunately. - 12/20/2013 11:45:32 AM
  • My strategy is to take a multi vitamin to fill in the gaps - good information to know - 12/20/2013 5:42:40 AM
  • I did't know about vitamin information. - 12/19/2013 11:58:56 PM
  • I got them all! - 12/9/2013 5:13:52 PM
  • That USP question got me-otherwise, thanks to sparkpeople's trivia questions, I was able to answer them correctly! - 11/14/2013 10:17:00 PM
  • all this is so new to me - 11/12/2013 3:42:29 PM
  • This was very interesting to listen to and I enjoyed the surprise on peoples faces. Good to know about the USP - 10/4/2013 10:45:44 AM
  • Pretty much knew everything on the video. I take many supplements, but have researched every one of them from multiple sources. I also take into account what my physical needs are and if it is indicated I need them. I only introduce them one at a time to see what there effect is on me--and I have stopped taking any where I noticed ill effects.

If you are not willing to do the research and pay attention to your body, then you probably should not take supplements other than a mulit-vitamin. It can be dangerous if you start willy-nilly taking every "hot" supplement on the market. - 9/23/2013 9:48:54 AM
  • Missed one the USP question. - 9/22/2013 7:01:15 PM
  • I'm a strong believer in vitamins. I'm now 71 years old, never had surgery and in good health plus don't look my age. When someone asks me how I did it, my reply is vitamins and exercise. Don't let anyone talk you out of it.

Course, I'm fortunate because I bought Earl Mindell's book Vitamin Bible decades ago and learned about supplements. What is scary is that some in Congress, paying attention to lobbyists, want to make supplements available by prescription only. - 9/13/2013 11:44:07 AM
