Applebees Cajun Lime Talapia

This is the only dish I'll order at Applebees anymore. Be sure to ask for the Broccoli to be lightly steamed without butter!!!

I used to always order this until I found out it is over 2100 grams of Sodium! Checking out items on their website shows almost everything is very high in sodium including their "light" items, under 550 items, and Weight Watchers items.

Not bad for a meal at Applebee's. It was okay, since it is one of the few places my grandchildren will eat besides a pizza parlor or MacDonald's when we take them out to eat when they visit.

According to the applebees website 310 calories, 1.5g saturated fat, 6g total fat, 2160mg sodium,39g carbohydrates, 9g fiber, 36g protein, as served which includes the rice and vegetables.

This information is incorrect but is posted everywhere. It is impossible that this dish could have zero carbs considering there is rice and veggies in it!!

This is my favorite meal at Applebee's. I have ordered it numerous times. The Tilapia is always good. The salsa and rice are nice complements to the fish. A few time I ordered it, the broccoli was not good, but it has been fine the last few times I ordered.

This was very good. The fish portion was very generous, and the steamed veggies and rice were a large portion as well. I was surprised at how full I felt afterwards, and it was very satisfying.

wow i had this friday night and it was very good. had it with the rice pialf and steamed veggies. i am glad i found this section of the site i had to google it to get the nutritional info. and it was the same.

I order the tilapia over fresh spinach instead of the rice - yummy!!

The talapia is very good, and, like the previous poster, is the only meal I order at Applebee's. If I do give in and order a pasta dish, I ask the waitress for a take out container with the meal. When it comes, I place two thirds of the meal in the container before starting to eat. I can usually get two more meals out of the pasta dish at home.
