Hoping this quote will help on this down day. Just did my 2 week weigh in and have lost no weight. I have cut out sugar, cut out alcohol, tracked all my food and kept calories in recommended range or lower. I have walked 45 minutes or more every day but the 2 my daughter was home sick. I can't up my cardio due to upcoming hip surgery. Ditto lower body strength training and ab work. Which leaves low impact walking and arms/back /shoulder exercises. I feel frustrated.

I read you post and it is so inspiring, I am also 70 years old and have Arthuritis. I don't know where to start as far as exercise. I am stil working. so going to a gym is out of the question. When i walk to my car i can hardly breathe. When i walk from my work to my car by the time i get to the car i am wheezing breathing hard. Would like to start out slow but lost as to what i should do.

Have your thyroid checked. Cut back to 1,000 cals. Walk more often adding hills to the route. Be in bed by 10pm. Don't eat after 6pm. Weigh yourself only every other day. In morning before eating.
