Motivational Quote - Today's progress is determined by yesterday's choices.

SparkPeople's Comments

Every small choice you make will impact your future. Don't quit! You can't expect to get good results if you keep making exercise excuses and quitting before you have a chance to reach your goals. Stop cheating yourself--make the right choices to get the results you want. When faced with multiple options, think about how each one will affect your progress. That foresight will have a major payoff in the end!

And the choice we made the day before that, and the day before that......

Easy left or hard right... Those fast easy unhealthy food choices are now encouraging me to make that hard right decision.

Especially when it comes to weight loss!

I would love to have this as a screen saver where it could remind me through the day of my personal goals.

So true and so convicting when I think of the poor choices I make each day that derail my weight loss efforts. As another SP Motivational poster said, I need to "Stop wishing for it. Start working for it."

Yesterdays choices do matter at least for me.

I think this saying is really great! If I go off track and eat too many calories-- then when I awake the next morning, I feel sluggish. If I eat healthy and stay "on track" then the next morning I feel energized. . . Yesterdays choices matter therefore. However, it is true that each day we can start anew to make healthy choices.

It is true to some extent. We need to keep a balanced mindful...there is always a fresh start, HOWEVER, our choices and decisions have consequences---bad and good.
