Motivational Quote - The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.

SparkPeople's Comments

Ever feel like your life is spinning all over the place, like one big roller coaster ride? Good, you should. As everyone has discovered many times, life does not always go to plan. Life does not always work out for the best. Life does not always – make sense. But honestly, how exciting would life be if everything went right, every single time? Of course, once in a while it’s natural to dream that your life was like a character in a book or a movie. But there is a reason life appears perfect in movies; so people will pay to watch! It’s easy to make life work out perfectly in fiction, but it’s harder for life to actually work out perfectly in reality. Dealing with the unexpected though makes you learn to trust yourself, think on your feet and have confidence even when things are looking bleak. Stop trying to figure out why life doesn’t make sense, and start figuring out how to deal with it.

so true, I learned that at a early age. I never believed in fairytales never endulged in them as other little girls did at my age, but that help to deal with whatever was thrown my way. I am a stronger person because of it.

Stop trying to figure out why life doesn’t make sense, and start figuring out how to deal with it. One day at a time

Awesome quote!! Accepting the reality of "Uncertainty" will allow us to flow in the seasons of life more easily. It is during these times we learn who we really are, how strong we really are, and well we really are equipped to handle whatever life presents, whether challenges or joys. During these times we also learn who other people really are, and another side of god that we would not have know without the “Uncertainty.”

What a wonderful quote! I am going through a very difficult time right now that is full of bizarre statements and misconceptions. The feeling of unreality is part of where I am, along with grief, pain, and tension. Sometimes, the right things come along, and this quote is one of them.

I like this quote. Guess I haven't thought about its content much, but I certainly have puzzled many times about real life
