Just To The Next Lamp Post



When you're running/biking/jogging/walking
/rowing/swimming and you want to stop, just tell yourself to get to the next lamppost (or tree, or recycling bin, whatever's nearby). Do this again and again, and you'll end up going much further than you thought you could

  • I generally do this when I am walking alone. I run to two lamppost and then walk then two lamppost again. But when I am walking with company I cannot do it because they don't run and I would going on and leave them and that would not be nice.. - by AMBER461
