  • Pajamas are a means of avoidance to beginning your day . I agree, get up get dressed and get moving...nice tip! - by CHERYLSBUTT
  • I wear exercise cloths everyday they are comfortable. - by GOALMOTO
  • I haven't been doing this and it takes me long time to get my day going (on weekends). I am definitely going to put this tip to use starting this weekend. - by SEWSPARKMEUP
  • I have to start doing that so I can get myself in the habit. I am not a morning person. I get early but I do not do much because I am kind of sluggish. - by BOLEBRON
  • I do this too. I am retired, so my time is my own. And if I sit in my pj's, the minutes and hours tick by. Getting dressed gets me going. Thanks for the reminder. emoticon - by EARLYBIRDM
  • I do the same thing so that I get my exercise done. - by ROOTIHAUSMAN

I agree with all of the above....if possible do excersie early as to not have anything get in the way to prevent you from doing so. As for me today was the exception that I did not get going early, now I am faced with I still need to go excersie! I am committing now to go. I need to stay motivated & keep moving!! emoticon - by KSTAR514
    fantastic idea! - by ELKOWALSKI
  • I do the same thing... I have my exercise clothes on first - right after getting up... so that I can get my exercise done before I go to work in the morning... and even on a day when I might be off for the day... or especially when I start later... I have it planned that I'm going to exercise to get my day started... so putting on my exercise clothes just makes the most sense... :) - by DONNAGRACE1164
I also put my exercise clothes on in the AM. It is a great motivator for me and I don't tend to change my plans easily when I'm ready to go. Now that the weather is getting nicer I'm more apt to take my AM walk too. Love the mornings!! emoticon - by SUZZQ4LIFE
  • I have always worked out in the morning and when you get into your exercise clothes first thing, you know exactly what you need to do. - by LYNCHD05
  • Thanks for sharing. - by LEANMEAN2

  • I am going to try this! I need to get my clothes together at night. - by QUEENJMOORE
Thanks for the reminder!! - by DEARTOMYHEART
  • I also keep a pack gym bag in the truck of my car at all times. Just in case I have an unexpected urge to workout. When I leave work in the morning I'm already in my workout clothes. - by FITWITHIN
  • Yes, I do the same thing! - by GEMINISUE
I put exercise clothes on before I leave work. I drive home and then get out of the car and start the exercise BEFORE I go into the house. (I jog-so it's easy to get started) If I ever go into the house, I have a hard time getting back outside. - by CANDYCURRYPOOLE
  • Good idea! - by WOOFERCOALBOY
  • Used to do that, but have drifted away. Have been looking for job for over a year, go through ups & downs, so when I have nothing special to get up for (like going to work), I lie around in bed with my cats & read. (I read......they just lie around) emoticon
Appreciate the reminder that I need to get dressed!!! - by GINGERVISTA
  • I am a teacher, so I have to get up early to get myself and two children ready and off for the day every morning, so I really don't have time for my exercise routine in the morning. I do, however, make it a point to put my exercise clothes on as soon as I get home from work to keep me motivated for my workout whether I do it right away or once the kids are in bed. - by MITCHETR192
  • I do this also and it has defiantly been a great motivator. - by PIXIEBRITT
  • I do the same thing and it makes me more comitted to making sure that I do my exercise for the day. - by MINIBIKKE
