Secrets of Success

Side Steps

Anytime I am doing an activity where I would normally stand in one place for several minutes, such as drying my hair, brushing my teeth, washing dishes, I do side steps. I wear a step counter and I can add hundreds of steps to my day!

  • I just started doing this as well. Hoping it will slim down the thighs. - by JAM2DREW
  • That is brillant!!!!!!! - by GRACESMOM2003
  • What a great idea! I just started wearing my pedometer daily. And some days I don't quite make it to 10,000 steps. I am going to try this! - by THM_CAROL
  • I do the same thing! I was having a difficult time reaching my 10,000 steps on my days off, but that's a problem in the past now that I step all the time. I do alternate between side steps, jogging in place, and just marching in place (depending on what I'm doing at the time). Side steps are my favorites, because I'm also working my inner and outer thighs! - by KATRENIAH
