Don'T Swear Off "Bad" Foods



No food should be called "bad". For example, I love ice cream (dessert) it's just that simple. Completely denying myself of it is a sure way to binge when I do get a taste. Be mindful of your eating habits, but squeeze in those treats you love! Moderation is key to a healthy diet NOT elimination.

  • Yeah! I don't swear off anything. I'm stubborn. The surest way to get me to "disobey the rules of weight loss" is to tell me I *can't* have something. If I want it, I eat it. In moderation. I guess that's how it is with most of life, no? - by LMB-ESQ

    Absolutely true, if you deny yourself totaly you will feel deprived. That is not any way to live. I allow myself anything I want but not the whole carton. - by 1ROCKYMAMA
  • It may work for you, but it is like tella an ALCOHOLIC that they can have a drink "once an awhile." MOST of us really have to stay away from JUNK FOOD if we want to keep the weight off. Since 95% of people regain the weight, it is a REAL issue. - by JIBBIE49
