Having my cholestrol go DOWN 47 points was such an extra blessing{ when having lost 10 lbs. after 2 mos. with Sparkpeople},that I decided to share my choices for breakfast-maybe not the most interesting, but it was and is effective for me! A half cup of orange juice along with vitamins{other secret},

More Information:

Quaker sweetened oatmeal-HIGH FIBER Cinnamon Swirl is one of my favorites-and I like my oatmeal thick-so 1 packet +1/3 or 1/2 packet ,depending on the amt. of water I put in the bowl-I don't measure the water! I need the sweeter versions because I DON'T LIKE oatmeal, but I like the health benefits!

P.S. - I don't much care for oatmeal ither, however, here's a tip .. try steel oats oatmeal from the health food store .. add a little brown sugar white raisins and few pecans .. or just brown sugar and blueberries .. it's sooo good for you .. - by GLORY2WALKWHIM

  • P.S.S. I make a batch of steel oats Sun. afternoons for the wk. and stick it in the fridge for quick and easy breakfasts .. just nuke it for a short time before eating.

A tip for high cholesterol is to boil and egg and just eat the whites perhaps with some garlic salt .. I put mine in a tea cup with the garlic salt and eat it on the way to the gym, along with some Ezekiel bread (from the health food store, they have several different choices, including raisin bread), and a little milk in my pre-measured cup .. smile .. - by GLORY2WALKWHIM
