Documentries About Healthy Living

I have been watching Documentaries about Food and Healthy living on Netflix. I started watching them because of the lack of good movies offered on Netflix. I need something to watch while I wog in place to get in my Fitbit steps.

One documentary was about juicing to get healthy and lose weight. I started drinking more smoothies and I am giving some serious thought to doing some juicing.

Most of the documentaries carry a wealth of information. We have an obesity epidemic going on in the nation. There are a lot of people out there trying to do something positive about it.
They need our support. It is not enough anymore to just want to change ourselves. We have to want to change or at least help change our way of living.

The Documentary I watched Aug 8, 2017 was called "Fat to Finish" It was about people that had already lost quite a few pounds (50 - 120) Now how were they going to keep it off. They got a team together and did relay races. I watched one the were doing in Key West, FL. I took a real interest when I seen the red SparkPeople Tee shirt. Chris Downey and Sparkpeople were mentioned in the credits at the end of the movie.
I thought that was cool.

I am not a runner, but I sure can walk. I love my Fitbit one. We here at SparkPeople can use our Fitbits in competition with each other.

I like the documentaries because I can wog in place while watching them. I can not do that while sitting at the computer reading articles or typing to my friends. I need to move. I love life, but I want it to be a healthy one.

My suggestion to anyone reading this is to watch a couple documentaries to see if they don't spur you on to do something healthier with your life.

There might even be some Documentaries that might make you a little angry when you find out how they get you to eat all this unhealthy processed foods. And somewhere down the road you will pay for your bad choices in medical cost.

We really do need to reprogram our thought to living healthy the majority of the time. Not just us as individuals, but we need to extend the importance to family and friends.
