Homemade Trail Mix



I make my own homemade trail mix with nuts and dried fruit like apricots, figs, cranberries, etc. I love to snack on it when I'm playing on the computer.

More Information:

I put it in mason jars tied with fabric and ribbon and gave them as Christmas gifts. Everyone loved it. And it was healthier than Christmas Cookies.

  • I make my own also as an alternative to chips and so forth. However in my weight loss journey I recently have had to reduce how much "snacking" I do on my trail mix because it was too many calories and carbs with the fruit added. It was great for a while. I still eat it just only 1 hand full a day. I look at it this way- It will last longer for the cost of buying all of the stuff to make it. LOL - by CLING724
