Secrets of Success

Tracking Ahead

This is what keeps me from getting off track. If I wait until it's time to eat to see what I can or can't eat, I get stressed and have a very high potential of screwing up.

More Information:

I track my meals a week ahead. Once I got a week done, I started to track a day at a time as the tracker will let me. For example: today I tracked June 7. I get groceries once a week, so when it's time, I already have an ongoing list that I add to each day when I track.

  • I spark a day ahead. Never thought of thinking that far ahead but willing to try it. - by MOM1014
Ditto on the getting stressed out part. Much happier when I figured out that I could "track" the future and plan ahead. Still having trouble with the amount of time the tracking takes but that should change when I get more of my favorites saved. - by CANDYANN75
  • Something I want to put into action. Thank you for the idea. I get stressed as well, trying to decide what to fix for my meals. - by SEWKOOLMOM2
  • This helps me too! I find that makes it easier to stick with, and it also motivates me because I know that if I stick to it I will be within my ranges. - by FOUREYEDFOOL
