Secrets of Success

Paprika App

After much research, I'm loving the recipe management app "Paprika". It lets me capture recipes from sparkrecipes as well as many other recipe sites & my own personal recipes! With all my recipes in one place, I can build the week's meal plan & hit a button for a grocery list. The big plus for ME is that I can have everything offline, since I'm not always on wifi to use sparkrecipes. It costs $20 for MAC, $5 for iPad, $5 for iPhone or iPod and uses a cloud to sync everything together. Awesome!

  • I also love the Paprika mobile app, however, I am dying to know how you are able to get your Spark People Recipes (yours and others) from Spark People Recipes to Paprika. I try to open the browser in Paprika and go to which only gives me the search bar (I can't actually get into my own recipes.) So I search for the recipe by name and I even have set up the recipe with my initials and it doesn't find it. So I am beating my head against the wall trying to do this so that I can also enjoy the shopping list and menu planning. Your assistance would be so welcome! - by ORLIBERTY
  • I use MealBoard in a similar way; the iPhone/iPad versions are less expensive than Paprika with the same functionality. I don't know how I ever got along without it!! - by TIFFFIT
