Secrets of Success

Easy Additional Exercise

I have stopped looking for parking places that are near the door of a store and started making use of the further ones. This way I get in some exercise walking to and from the store. This exercise is of course in addition to and not in place of regular exercises.

I do this when I am alone, but I am often driving a handicapped person and have to park in those spaces near the door.

  • Because I'm handicapped (I have trouble walking great distances) I usually use my scooter when I grocery shop. But on days that I feel pretty good, I walk the store with a cart. I feel great about myself because I walked instead of riding, getting more exercise than if I had not walked. - by FOXCINA
