Secrets of Success

Cook Or Bake Less Often.

So, I know this sounds crazy, but I've found I'm better able to stay on track when I cook less frequently. I'm an excellent baker and have a hard time not eating the cookies, rolls, and breads of my labors. Baking less means I eat the veggies in the house, not all those calorie-laden carbs.

More Information:

I still cook, I guess, just more healthy, more often.

This is so true for me, thank you for sharing! I had to face up to the fact that I was "my own best customer" when it came to all the baking I was doing "for the family". We can do this!

I agree. If there are homemade baked things in the house, I cannot resist them. I have had to give up my excuse that I was making them for the family. I always will eat more of it than they do. It is just too much of a temptation for me. Store bought goodies are not as much of a temptation for me though. - by BRENDAINGA
That is true. My daughter is chef (now in home) and now she is overweight. - by NAOLEE
  • I have to agree, I love to bake so that means pies, muffins etc so that means more eating and more calories. Have a great day! emoticon - by PAMSBUG
