  • I change my food intake at the first sign of a plateau, i dont wait longer than 2 weeks.
I increase my protein with a steak for dinner, no starches or bread at all (rice, pasta, potatoes, any flour products, beans and grains) and bam...the plateau is gone! - by SASANDRA
Food combining works great when you have plateaued. Even when I was in college, I took a nutrition class at the University of Texas at Austin. Just by helping your body digest food easier you lose a lot of weight. The principles are rather simple. Don't mix fruit with any other food. Do not mix protein and carbs. You can mix veggies with carbs or protein. Eat carbs and a legume and create a complete protein. You can google food combining for additional instructions. Personally I like to eat fruit all morning until 2 hrs before lunch. I have an all veggie salad for lunch and protein with veggies for dinner. At first you may not fill as full without mixing carbs and protein, but your body gets use to it usually under 1 week. Try to eat as many of your fruits and veggies raw. - by TEXLNGHRN2005
