Apples are associated with a reduced risk of cancer,(especially lung cancer) heart disease, asthma and type 2 diabetes & weight loss. The phytonutrients in apples can help you regulate your blood sugars as they stimulate the beta cells of the pancreas to secrete insulin. Also there's a reduction of glucose absorption, so the result is better blood sugar regulation in our body.
