Did you know yams aren't just for the holiday meals? We have switched to yams. They are so good natural sweet and better for you less in calories then regular potatoes higher in fiber. You can bake them, broil them, boil them put them on the Bar-B-Que. You make sweet potato fries they are so yummy What ever you do with a regular pottage you can do with a yam, and you'll love them more.. Just give them a try You'll like them I know you will.

  • Not REAL Sweet Potato fries. Yams aren't Sweet Potatoes. Or vice/verse.

    What you can do is slice Yams length wise. Pop into the micro for 30-60 sec. based on you micros wattage. You want the yams fork tender not floppy.

    Crosscut the slices "like fries". Spritz with Canola Oil from your pump mister. Toss in a good size Baggie with you fav herbs and spices. A must to include is a SMOKEY Sweet Paprika.

    Place on a seasoned, lightly oiled grill pan (on a stove top or B-B-Q grill) & finish cooking through. DON'T FORGET THE GRILL MARKS. emoticon - by JVANAM
