Hand Cream

How frustrating is it to have hand cream left in the bottom of the dispenser and not be able to get it out because the pump won't reach? I get to it by cutting the plastic dispenser in half and putting the remaining hand cream in a tightly-covered plastic container. After 3 or 4 times of doing this, there are 4 or 5 ounces of hand cream to be used.

  • I also use toothpaste squeezers to get the most out of tubes of lotion etc etc. - by MNJONES2
  • how do you cut the container? I have some lotion I really like but the bottle design is ridiculous - almost 1/4 of the lotion is stuck in there, but the bottle plastic is thick and I'd be afraid I might cut myself in the process... emoticon - by KASIAS3
  • So glad to see another person as thrifty as me. When I get to the end of a tube of moisturiser or the like, after wringing every last drop out with the tube intact, i cut it open near the end. There's usually another week's worth in there, but i so hope no-one ever looks in my cupboard and finds it. emoticon - by FIFIFRIZZLE
