Secrets of Success

Find A Buddy

I've been here a year, and fallen off the wagon each time. When I fall, I slip big....and go back almost to where I started. This time is different!! My husband is committed to eating healthy and exercising each day for at least 10 minutes. It is such a joy to be able to encourage someone and have someone keep me accountable. Find a buddy for yourself to share the journey!

I too have to do this alone. My husband can eat, eat, and eat and never gains a pound. It's very discouraging having to do this alone. Especially when your husband announces that he's thinks he's going to have some ice cream or he's going to have a brownie. He won't even walk with me or anything. It's all up to me. I can just look at food and it seems like I gain weight. - by PROUDNANA060910
I'm on this weight loss journey alone. I've had family/friends start a weight loss commitment with me but they drop out abt a week or 2 later. So I am at this alone again & I have accepted that but am looking for online support. - by BLOORAYNE
  • I too have been on my journey by myself but my husband decided to join me recently as well and now we jog together, watch what we eat and support each other. Much nicer having someone to be by your side.
