Keeping The Metabolism Going



If you’re spending lengthy time at the computer, get up every 30 minutes or so for some quick exercises to bring up your metabolism. I use my stair stepper.

    I am currently working on my MBA and therefore spending a lot of time on the computer at my kitchen table. I set the timer for one hour and each time it goes off I hit the floor for a set of crunches, jumping jacks, push-ups - anything to get my blood moving. It also clears my head and helps me work through any writer's block I may be experiencing. I set the timer again and repeat after another hour. Boy, does an hour go fast... emoticon - by OSUBUCKI101

  • I actually took my stair stepper into work and I get up and use it. Funny, other people in my office come in and get on it too. It has helped me stay awake in some instances.
