High-Fiber Snack Bars



When making snack bars like Rice Krispie Treats, substitute Fiber One for the Rice Krispies. The results are crunchy and very tasty.

Rice Krispies have 0 fiber, but Fiber One has 14 gr per serving. One treat (depending on how big you make them) should have about 1/4 to 1/2 serving.

(Don't tell the kids.)

I also like 1/2 serving of Fiber One added to a small container of yogurt. It satisfies my need for crunch and usually gives me enough fiber (along with other foods I've eaten that day) to meet my daily quota.

I like Fiber One right out of the box, too.
