Give Yourself A Break



Sometimes you have to just take a break from your workout schedule. I have learned to listen to my body and give it what it needs without the guilt. If I am not feeling 100% I don't feel the need to torture my body just to say I have worked out!

  • You are so right. I've been hitting the cardio really hard for a couple of months, but last week, I just felt like my body was telling me to take a break. So I gave myself permission to take the later portion of the week off (only from exercise, not eating plan). Today when I went back to the gym after my break. I was able to work out harder than I ever have. I hit a new high speed on the treadmill. - by DRAGONDAWG
