Secrets of Success

Mantra After Making A Making A Bad Choice

I've loved this since the first time I read it:
"Falling is failing only if you stay down."
At any time, no matter how late in the day, YOU can decide to get back up. Even if it is only to walk an extra 100 steps, do 20 jumping jacks or begin logging your meal plan for tomorrow, any positive action means you haven't stayed down.

I used to think that if I didn't get my exercise in before noon, forget it...but since joining SP, I am working on doing at least 10 minutes (which usually becomes 20 or 30) even if it's after I get home later. I don't work out super hard then because I don't want to get too energized but I keep the streak going and that's a huge psychological boost. - by IZATRAVELER
  • How true! I blew it big time yesterday, but today I have pre-tracked and am not going to let yesterdays failure ruin today! Thanks for posting! - by RUNNERGURL61
