Good snacks that can be eaten anytime for a diabetic should be moderate and low in salt and sugar but satisfying to regulate blood sugar levels..a bedtime snack to keep Blood Sugar level until morning should be peanut butter and crackers or peanut butter sandwich, milk, 2 breadstix and low fat cheese or milk and graham crackers are popular for Diabetics and is a good source of protein that won't skyrocket the sugar.

  • I love peanut butter but not the fat. Greek yogurt is high in protein and creamy and delicious. I like some slightly thawed frozen fruit with a dollop of Greek yogurt and a few slivered almonds on top. Yum! A good protein/carbo balanced snack and a way to get some of those wonderful five-a-day fruits and veggies. - by SEAJESS

  • I often have graham cracker with p-nut butter to curb the "hungries" at night..otherwise there will be no sleep because of the tummy growls - by GRAYGRANNY
