Sprinkle A Little Cinnamon On It!



When enjoying a meal of cereal (hot or cold), dessert or even nuts consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. This fragrant spice has been shown to help stablize blood sugar (it works for me), as well as making food taste great!

Consider making a quick cinnamon tea? Boil a cinnamon stick in water and sweeten as desired. Do not over consume large portions of Cinnamon - too much of a good thing can be harmful.

  • I do this all the time. Anytime I have oatmeal I try to make it even better by adding cinnamon, a couple walnuts (chopped) and a sliced banana. Makes it taste like banana nut bread! I've also done that with other fruits for a variety. - by FLYINRAE
