How To Drink Water In The Winter

In the winter, I hate drinking cold water from the tap when it's already chilly in the house and outside. So, after I drink my first glass of water in the morning, I immediately fill up the glass again and set it aside for later. When I'm ready to drink it, the water has warmed up and goes down much easier. Drink and repeat 8 times! In the summer, ice cold water is best, of course. It's refreshing and it burns calories to warm up the water in your tummy.

  • My mom has always preferred to drink water and juices at room temperature. She says that juice tastes better that way. I, on the other hand, can't get liquids cold enough. My husband and I keep glasses in the freezer and enjoy the "slush" that forms inside when you pour in your drink.
