Prayer To St. Antyony

For those of you who may not be aware, and want to get in touch with a spiritual side--when something is lost, you should pray to St. Anthony who is the patron saint of lost items. The normal prayer is :St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come around. Something is lost and cannot be found.
Well, I changed it up a bit and say this prayer before every meal now:

St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please come around
My skinny is lost and cannot be found.

  • My grandmother (and now mother) always prayed to St. Anthony when they lost something. Christmas Eve, my mom lost my grandmother's rings. We both prayed to St. Anthony at the Christmas Eve service and when we got home, my father had found the rings! The other saint my mom often prays to is St. Jude, the patron saint of desperate cases or lost causes. - by EGGHEADEDMOMMA

  • I learned to do this...pray to St. Anthony when I lost works almost 100% of the time. I'm still waiting to find my car key that I lost off my key ring in August. When that happens, it'll be back to 100% for me. - by WANAKA
