Secrets of Success

Hcg Diet

This diet is amazing. I am losing weight rapidly. Search Dr. Simeon's HCG Diet Protocol" in Google to find and read the original manuscript for yourself. It really does work. Too many details to fit in here though.

I have been on this diet since November 29th and I have lost 31 pounds. It took me 6 weeks to lose what would have taken me at least 4 months if not longer. I liked the strict parameters of the diet and I also liked the detox effect it had on me. My skin looks so much better and my cravings have totally changed to craving protein rather than sugary carbs. I start phase 3 on Wednesday and am looking forward to it. I am doing another round in March to meet my goal weight. - by DVIHSTADT
I did my first round last March and lost 25 lbs. It really changed my outlook on food. Fuel vs comfort. I continued eating right and exercising and lost another 7-10 lbs but took me 9 months. I am in my second round and have lost 14 more. I am 10 lbs from goal and then plan to maintain through sensible eating and exercise. I love HCG. Changed my life. Just be smart and listen to your body. At first I would get a little dizzy and I would split the meals eating more often and that did the trick. - by SISEPUEDE88
  • I will have do disagree with the majority of the person commenting. I actually have not felt healthier. My craving have subsided and the consistent weight loss has empowered me. I know due to the low calorie and restrictive diet it is not for everyone but it has worked for me where other program have not. Believe it or not due to the success when I am on the stabilizing cycle of the diet I have maintain the loss without much trouble. Please before you dismiss talk with someone who has done the problem correctly and has read the complete protocol. Best of Luck to all.

I have just finished this diet and feel fantastic. I have just lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks and now start phase 3. this diet was very strict but I was able to sstay motivated to carry on healthy eating. Hope you do well. - by NURSEMODE
  • As for me this diet made me feel weak and dizzy every morning. Just feel well most of the day. I would like to try it again. Mayber I did something wrong. - by DLMJKM
It's not about rapid, it's about healthy. Too many health issues with this diet for it to be healthy. Please research this carefully. Remember you are creating a lifestyle change, which takes time but is much healthier for you in the long run. - by ESLTEACHER1
  • I Love this diet. I watched a coworker go through it and thought it must be hard -- but gosh she lost a lot of weight quickly and is keeping it off. When she started her second round I began asking more questions.

I'm on day 4 of calorie restriction but can honestly say I do NOT feel restricted. I am amazed. I have lost 7 pounds already. I feel great. There really is no hunger -- only lots of energy.

I particularly love these reports that most of those who have tried it have had great success not only in losing weight but keeping it off. So poo poo to those naysayers who have no actual personal experience. I was skeptical until I tried it. Experience speaks much louder than words. - by MELANIEWS
  • On R1P2D13 so far so good. - by VOLUPTUOUSONE
  • I have found this to be most helpful - my HCG experience has been wonderful. Only about 5 more pounds to go and the I will learn to maintain the weight that I am enjoying. I have already learned that portion control is the way to live - I learned that a long time ago. Even with exercise and careful eating I was not able to loose the extra pounds. With HCG I have lost and felt good and have reset my metabolism. I was given HCG drops for Christmas last year and started Dec. 26,2010. I maintained my weight for several months and then wanted to loose a little more - which is where I am now. Eating anything I want just learning that I can't have ALL my taste buds think they want is what has helped me keep the majority of my weight off. Sorry some of you have not enjoyed the success that I have - Keep up the good work that you are doing and I am sure you will continue to make progress. - by IMJEANNIELUKE
  • I agree with ESLTEACHER1, and in my experience you gain back fast what you lose fast and neither way is healthy - by CLAUDECF
  • They've found all kinds of health problems with the HCG diet, along with Atkins, the Zone (which is closer to being healthy), Somersized, etc. I would recommend the "Body-for-LIFE plan for men/women" (depending on which you are) as it adresses serving sizes rather than calorie counts, mental/spiritual/self esteem issues rather than willpower, and also specific nutrition guidelines for sexes and age groups, and I can find no medical evidence that the "diet" is anything but healthy for you. It sets a healthy lifestyle and encourages a small amount of "cheating" so you don't feel deprived. The female one (I cannot speak for the male one) even includes a guide to safe exercises that one can do with a set of weights or without anything at all, and a set of templates for recording yourself. I love it! - by ALIAKAI
I think anyone who eats only 500 calories a day would loose weight. What's going to happen when you start eating a normal amount of calories again? Best of luck to you! - by LASSMASS
  • Doesn't look too healthy! Better stick to tracking your food. If I went on this I'd eventually binge and gain all losses back. emoticon - by LA_BONITA
