Secrets of Success

If You Spill Red Wine On A White Carpet, You Just Clean It Up, Not Pour On More.

We all have days when we don't follow our nutrition goals, when we eat so much we feel really, really bad later. Sometimes it's tempting to just keep on going like this because after all, we blew it once again right? Wrong. Just like you can get any stain out if you act quickly, you can turn yourself around by thinking about what you did and how you can prevent it next time.

More Information:

Allow yourself "cheat" days once in a while, maybe once a month. Don't count your calories that day, eat whatever you've been craving and only eat until you're full. When you have a craving write it down and then on cheat day see if you still feel like eating it.

  • Your title says it all--thank you!!! I think I have spent my whole adult life pouring on more red wine when I have had a "spill" during one of my MANY diets! Two things then--no more adding to the spill and no more "diets." Am I right?

  • OMG, thank you so much for posting this. Last night I felt so guilty about eating a whole box of dunkin donuts, that I even couldn't stop eating after that. But today is truly a new day and I feel so hopeful that I'm not in this alone. - by TRYINGMYBEST5
