Secrets of Success

Febreeze It Not

Set up a small glass bowl of vinegar in the smelly area. Before the vinegar evaporates, dump it down the drain with water. The vinegar molecules surround the odor molecules and capture them and take them down!

More Information:

If you don't have a small glass bowl, use a glass jar or cup. Do not use plastic as the vinegar with transfer the odor to the plastic.

Great tip - especially since I've heard Fabreeze can be toxic to household pets. Thanks! - by MYINNERDIVA
  • I need to do that this very second. My son nailed a hole in our sink drain pipe , trying to hang a picture on the wall in front of it, and it's stinking up the whole house! Gonna go do that right now! ;D - by SUSANSKI
  • Great info.Thanks. - by JAMBUTTER
  • I love this. Vinegar's CHEAP and I'm sensitive to most of those smelly, expensive household products.
