Low-Carb Diet



We have greatly reduced (although certainly not eliminated) our carb intake. This has really added to the speed with which I've lost weight (although the loss is still reasonable). I am not overly hungry but rarely top out the calorie recommendations from Sparks

More Information:

We have greatly reduced rice and potato consumption, as well as bread and other high carb foods. Our doctors have even recommended not much fruit.

We get our carbs through dairy products and some fruit.

  • If I don't have more than 1/2 slice of bread, my hunger is in balance. (I always wonder why some days, I still choose to!)I agree having fruit and veg carbs and less starchy carbs is a way forward - by GERRYCAM1
  • I am so disgusted with my self. I lost 20# and it took me almost a year to do it, Now I am slowing regaining and I put 5# on. I try but my husband and I eat out so much and we have a huge family which has birthdays all the time. I say no thank you (usually)but I just can't get the wt. off any more. HELP - by IPAINTFEATHERS
