The best way to save money is to use what you have and don't buy new stuff. I stay out of stores as much as possible and I make a list and only go to areas of the store I have to go to.

  • I wish I had you strength of will. I am always buying things I dont really need, but the fruits of my "Retail Therapy" are not wasted. I have a good stock of dry goods and cans in the food line, which cant be bad when there is talk of food prices going through the roof. I have sufficient clothes whether I put on or lose weight, a stock of household items from duvet covers to laundry products. The list goes on.Anything more I buy will add to those stocks or be used- eventually. I think a stock cupboard is important, tho I will admit mine is perhaps excessive, but I feel that I should buy while I can afford it, provided it will keep. Even my son comes round with a shopping list, and usually goes home with something in his carrier bag. Good old Mum! emoticon - by DOTTYDRUID
