  • I have the same problem. I was getting to the point where I was weighing myself 3-5x per day. Then over the holidays I went away and there were not any scales around, at first I was upset but as the week went on, it was like a burden lifted off of my shoulders. So I came home and I still weigh myself every couple of days, but that's better for me. I was getting too obsessed with the scale and I think that can do more harm than good.

  • This is why I put mine up on a shelf and get it down once a week. Once I was weighable on a scale I was on it 3 or 4 times a day. which does not help nor does it make you feel any better weight flucates all day long.
    The Dr. told me to put mine away for a month. Let how you clothes fit and measurement tell you your weight loss. Don't depend on the scale. there are many spark article about this.
    Just track your food and your exercise.. Not the weight. Some times it takes the pressure off. Then we can move forward. - by MARTHAR3
