Dr. Scholl'S Moleskin

I walk a lot, both the treadmill and outside. Sometimes I even run. I often have places where my shoes rub on my feet, not enough for a blister, still annoying. I now use Dr. Scholl's Moleskin. It can be cut to any size I want and is very sticky so it stays in place and protects that raw spot so

More Information:

that it doesn't become worse. I have a spot just under my big toenail on the left foot and the top of my big toe on the right. If I had a cut or blister it might hurt to take it off but I've never had a problem. And by using it I prevent blisters and rawness.

  • Moleskin has been the reason I have gotten through the 39.3 miles of walking during the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer with hardly a blister on my feet. It is great stuff! - by GBTRIGIRL
  • I have some new J-41 shoes that you wear without socks, since its summer my feet get hot and I tend to get blisters. Well what do you know the first day wearing them I get blisters on the backs of both my ankles. Im going to try moleskin and see if that works. Somebody needs to invent a band to wear to prevent blisters in the first place :) - by ANGELLOPEZ24

  • I travel a lot for work and walking long stretches through airports in my dress shoes used to destroy my feet. I now practically line the inside of my dress shoes with mole skin. No more blisters! No more rubbing! - by LORISMITH2573
  • wow i remember this stuff- i used it under my boyfriend's class ring in high school.. so it would fit my finger, also i used it when i used to play the clarinet, under the guard for your thumb so it won't leave rough spots on your right hand from the carrying and playing the clarinet in competitions and at football games.. so neat to know there are other uses! - by ASHANDABI
  • I use moleskin to prevent blisters on my toes when snorkeling and scuba diving. - by JBINAUSTIN
  • I agree that moleskin is wonderful stuff - I have odd shaped feet so have certain spots that rub. Moleskin saves lots of problems. - by LSIG14
  • I know my sister-in-law uses this for the 3 DAY Walk, but I never thought to ask her where she gets it at. The skin on the bottom of my feet starts tearing up from where flip flops, I have been trying Skin Shield and it has helped but I bet the moleskin would work better. - by BACASHEART

I'm going to get some and see if I can protect a couple of corns I have on my heal that are driving me nuts. I have to be careful what I use and can't be cutting or burning them off or using anything that could cause open wounds. - by CHERYL7777
